The absolute best part of my job is seeing all of the lives being saved when someone walks through the doors at my shop. Most, if not all, of us have seen the information about how switching from smoking to vaping can help save your life. While this is true, nothing is better than actually seeing and hearing it from their own mouths. A particular customer of mine is a Charter Captain and was having trouble with his fishing lifestyle, so he walked in and changed his life!

Background

This customer, whom will remain anonymous, had smoked for over 30 years. This lifestyle had finally caught up to him, and he was having trouble with his business. Not being able to breathe well, getting light-headed, and losing his customers due to lack of ability were really taking a toll on his life. He decided to take a chance and walked into my shop asking me to help him out.

Hearing His Story

I always love new customers! But, it’s the ones that tell their stories that are most memorable! He walked in, looked straight in my eyes, and told me he desperately needed help quitting before it was too late. He told me that he was a Captain and that fishing was his life. After explaining that he noticed his health declining, he added a little humor into his story. He was always getting aggravated over losing the big fish, but also losing the cigarettes that dropped from his mouth into the ocean.

Bonding Builds Trust

This made us both laugh for quite some time, since I had that happen to me before. Fishing is a huge part of my life, so I knew exactly where this Captain was coming from. After a little bit of conversation, he looked at my mod (Smok GX350 and the Mason 30mm RDA) and had a look of horror! He asked if we had anything smaller. I laughed and told him that I would never dream of selling him something like I have.

The Results

We started looking at his best options, and decided that the Joyetech eGo AIO would be his best option. He found some flavors that he loved, purchased everything, and went on his way. After about 3 weeks of not seeing him, he came back in for more juice. I had asked him how everything was going, and he was so excited to tell me that he is able to breathe better, taste his grilled fish again, and that everything was becoming easy again!
